Monday Morning

I really need to get up and get going, but I know once I do it will be non-stop today. All of Mark's family comes to our house for Christmas Day (which I love), but today I will be trying to get the house in order. Today we are going to tackle the boy's and Abbie's room. Abbie loves to do little crafts and her room is always covered in paper, yarn, glue, you name it. We also have Scouts tonight and I really need to finish wrapping presents sometime. But, I am excited because today I hope to make my first loaf of bread in my new bread machine!

Saturday night we went to my mom and dad's house for a Wright family Christmas night. We'll have our big family Christmas on Christmas Eve. My present from them was a Cuisanart Breadmaker. Whoo-Hoo, it is fancy! I had to read up on it yesterday to try to figure it out. I"m going to try Honey Whole-Wheat today. Mark and the kids were wanting me to make bread Saturday night when we got home. Since I feel asleep on the couch that obviously didn't happen. So, hopefully tonight we will have Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup and homemade (sorta) bread.

  2. We have that fancy schmancy breadmaker too - you can make a killer pizza dough in it, and jam too!!! I'll have to send you some of the recipes I have.

I wouldn't spend too much time cleaning the kid's rooms. After many years of the Clark Family Christmas - trust me, they'll be trashed out before everybody even gets there. Just sit tight and enjoy the chaos!
    Love you.
