Thursday

Today started our first day back at Community Bible Study. Abbie was so excited to get to see her friends again. I'm sure the boys were too, but they did not show it. They were acting calm, cool, and collected. And let me just tell you that James was the cutest two year old there with his Thomas the Tank Engine backpack on.

We are back at home and I really need to get busy and do some picking up. Mark and I moved some furniture and rearranged some things and all the stuff we didn't know what to do with went in to our living room. I need to figure out what to do with it. Mostly I have just stood and looked at it and said, "I'll figure it out tomorrow."

I wanted to share this recipe with you. It is soooo easy and soooo yummy. It is called Saturday Night Chicken, but I am going to be wild and crazy and make it on Thursday night. I'm getting so wild the next thing you know I might just get Hazenut Coffee Creamer instead of my plain old French Vanilla. Anyway, this is really good served over rice and I usually make biscuits with it. My kids aren't too fond of it, but what do they know? They're kids.

Saturday Night Chicken

6 chicken breasts

2 cans cream of chicken soup

1/2 pint whipping cream

Salt and pepper your chicken breasts. A lot. Lay in casserole dish. Mix soups and whipping cream in a separate bowl. Pour over breasts. Cook one hour at 400 degrees. That's it. It makes a creamy sauce that is even better the next day.

Great recipe. I've tried something similar but not with the heavy cream. Probably makes it really delicious!!

  8. I am Mama Hens Mama and I want to tell you that when I got to church yesterday and saw those Clark's waiting for me, I thought my heart would burst. Other than the fact that they were the most beautiful family there, it is such a joy to know that my grandchildren are with me once a week, studying the Word and learning more about our precious Savior and Lord. Thank you Wendy for being the Mama you are. I love you.
