Another Scene From A House Full Of Boys

Sometimes I'm not so sure imagination is a good thing.

I walked out to our laundry area and James was on the back porch. He was laying all over Sylvester (aka Vesta), our cat, and was trying to pry his mouth open. I asked him casually what he was doing. He held up a little rock and said just as casually,

"I am trying to sharpen Vesta's teeth ."

With the rock. And the cat was just laying there taking it.

I think someone needs to sharpen the cat's brain.

You will be happy to know I rescued the cat from James' helpfulness.

And right now you need to click over to Rebekah's blog. Just do it. Go ahead.

  1. I'm impressed she just laid there and took it.

  2. LOVE IT!! Lucky Vesta.

My Mom tells an infamous story of me trying to help my cat clean her kittens....I had quite the furry tongue afterward.

  3. LOL! well, that's a first. i'll have to share that with my cat parents!!!!

  4. *Snort!*

    Poor, poor sainted cat. ;)

  5. That is hilarious! Where do they get this kind of stuff?!?

  6. Dear Mama Hen,
Ahhhh, a kindred spirit! You know what they say, "Birds of a feather flock together." Keep peckin aways and thanks for stopping by. It was fun to "meet" you! :)

  7. hilarious! If that boy every becomes a dentist you might think twice about gettting free dental care from him!

  8. That is just tooooo funny!! It reminds me of my girlie giving our cat a bath, with her tongue! You must have one sweet kitty!

  9. I can just see James doing that! Too cute!
