Bless His Little Precious Newborn Heart....

(James and Ty-wer. Tyler is such a great big brother to James. Tyler used to play with this Rescue Hero set when he was a little boy and he is showing James what to do. I love that kid.)

Yesterday my sweet little precious newborn James (who is disguising himself as an-almost four year old),

  • dumped a whole brand new bag of cat food on the back porch (to help Ty-wer, whose job it is to feed the cats)
  • dumped the puzzle piece basket (yes, I just threw them in a basket instead of actually putting them in the puzzles) out TWICE. I still haven't figured out why,
  • had three potty "accidents"
  • unrolled the toilet paper all over the wet bathroom because, in his own words, "He was bored of taking a bath."
We had a big day of training with him as he had to help clean all this up. Last night as he was gathering up all the wet tissue paper and putting it in the garbage, he looked up at me and said, "I'm tired of cleaning this place up."
Bless his little heart.

Don't forget, you can go here and leave me a cleaning tip. You might win a Christmas prize!

Today is #3-Deep cleaning my bedroom. This will not just be an afternoon job. This will be an all-dayer cause you know, school, meals, swing-time. I have to keep my priorities in order, you know. I'll update the list when I am done. Look at all that confidence :).

***Edited to add: I just went out to the laundry to switch out the laundry. Walked into the back door to Tyler yelling, "No, no, you can't do that!!!" James had decided to make a leash for Vester the cat. Out of masking tape. Wrapped tightly around his neck.

It's only 8:48 am.

  4. Um, yup. I can envision it all. Bless your heart, but this too shall pass. I should type up what my little almost 3 year old has gotten into today. But I am bringing breakfast to our Sunday School class in the morning and just don't have the energy tonight!
