Funny, Happy, Pretty, Real...

round button chicken

Funny~Two very silly brothers

Funny (and Pretty)~FavCousins who love to play and laugh together

Real~the snake Tyler found behind our workshop.

Don't worry Mama and Aunt Jill-Tyler did not pick it up with the stick. He went and got Mark who poked and prodded at it. It is a black rat snake which is not harmful to us, only to the rats. It was pretty unsettling though, to say the least.

  1. Wendy - how long was that snake? I'm wondering if it is the one that left it's skin in the workshop.

  2. It might be. It was pretty long, I would guess at least 3 feet. Mark, is that right?

  7. further study indicates that the proper name for the black rat snake is the black king snake. I may be corrected but i believe that to be true.
commonly most non aquatic non venomous snakes get lumped into the rat snake category due to their diet. but they can be found to be corn snakes, king snakes etc.
