Well, it happened.
My teeny-tiny newborn baby started Kindergarten yesterday.
I didn't cry, but I almost did when I prayed with him before we started school and I became aware once more of the awesome responsibility it is to raise these children in the fear and nurturing of the Lord. We have a long 13 years before us, but I know it will be worth it in the end.
And I know that at the end of those 13 years I will truly be able to say that the years were short indeed.

ReplyDeleteso sweet :) my girls are going to their charter school one day a week from 9-1 and today was their first day. if i wasn't such a sweaty, stressed out mess trying to figure out the traffic and classroom situations i would have bawled my eyes out. Thank the Lord for 95 degree weather and disorganization!
ReplyDeleteWhat a blessing!
