Monday Morning Madness Cure

Does anyone have a cure for Monday morning madness? The symptoms include four children who are extremely tired and one momma who is overwhelmed by the sheer craziness of her house right now. Easter service, one lunch at my mothers with my family and then supper with Mark's family, a whole bunch of bags of candy and whatnot that have been dumped throughout the house as we came through and loads of dishes piled on the kitchen counter are the main contributers to this syndrome.

And no one is to tell me just to straighten up and prepare on Sunday night because that is too reasonable. And I was too tired anyway.

Oh, and by the way, we have a full schedule of school today and Scouts tonight. Woo-Hoo!

  5. I say the cure is sleeping late (or go back to bed if it's too late), watch a movie together, and then see if you all have the energy to Monday. :)

  6. Eat leftovers tonight. Do just what has to be done to day to survive and make a list. I LOVE LISTS. By the way, yesterday was wonderful.

  10. Mark is right. Beef stew and rice have miraculous powers. Or Beef stew and whipped potatoes if there's no rice handy...
