Christmas in June

James has a little book about Christmas. It talks about presents, decorating, and Santa Claus. On the way to Scouts tonight Abbie was asking James what he wants Santa to bring him this year. Cause, you know, he must need 6 months to get it ready. Anyway, she was trying to get him to say a swimming pool. I guess she thought his cuteness might persuade Santa in the pool direction. He really doesn't understand Santa (he's only 2 1/2) and he doesn't understand birthdays at all. He thinks every time he eats a piece of cake it is his birthday. So, she asked him again what he wanted Santa to bring him.

James: "Um, um, um.... a present, " he said with a big smile.

Abbie: "But what do you want that present to be?"

James: "Um, um, um.... a BIG present!"

That's my boy!
