Guess Who?

Guess who can now climb our pear tree all by himself? Guess who I watched fall out of the pear tree (it was a very short fall) yesterday? And guess who just jumped right back up and climbed in it again? I think he is going to be a climber just like his brothers. (By the way, that is a PRETEND knife he was cutting the tree with). I don't let my kids have real knives until they turn four (just kidding Nana!)

***And just so no one calls the authorities on me he is in a very low tree. It might look high from the angle, but its not. I was on eye level with him (and I am short).

Our garden is really growing. We have tomatoes, but they won't turn red. So I am just sitting in my swing watching the weeds and grass grow while I wait for them to turn. I mean, my philosophy is, they don't get weeded until they show me they are worth the weeding. I talked to them about this and they agreed. So, I wait...

  1. He looks like a man on a mission. I put up 4 pints and 1 jelly jar of fig preserves this morning. They are beautiful.

  3. How sad is it that you have to have a disclaimer?! But I would have written the same thing! After my girlie fell out of our tree and had to have stitches, the er doctor must have asked her seven different ways if that was really what happened!

He looks sooo proud of himself~! Kids NEED to climb and run amuck!

    Your garden looks amazing!

  5. Oh goodness... I'll be terrified when Tad starts climbing trees! He's already rearranging my living room furniture and climbing on everything in the house! I am so not ready for trees yet!!!

  7. I will get you the recipe if you email me. I can't get it this week as I am doing artwork for the fabric company, but will be able to get it next week. I can't put it on the internet. Thanks, prairie flower

  9. There's something wrong in the universe when a girl in Northern Indiana gets 'maters before an Alabama girl! I'm going to come down there and glue red ones on your plants!

Let the boy climb. So cute. :-)

  10. WOW! That's too cute! Ali would totally climb a tree if we had a low one too.

I think that maybe your tomatoes have the opposite opinion..."We'll turn Red as soon as she gets off the swing and weeds us!"

    :)
