You may remember me writing about how Abbie really really really wanted the giant toothbrush that was one of the prizes she could pick for the reading program. She has been reading away this summer trying to fill up her little reading log and get her tickets to redeem. We went Saturday and honestly, it was so funny to see someone so excited about a big toothbrush. She had enough tickets to get some other little trinkets and a free book also. I read enough to James to fill his reading log so Abbie picked out a big toothbrush for him too. It's not much smaller than him and he cannot even begin to get it in his mouth. They are too funny.

Well, her teeth should be really clean!
ReplyDeleteOh Bless her heart. That is so sweet. She's so proud!
ReplyDeleteI hope to see a picture of you like that with a red apron on soon. :-)
Yippee! I'm so glad that Abbie got the giant toothbrush, she wanted it so much! Way to set a goal and work for it, good girl!
ReplyDeleteCongrats Abbie! I'd like to see a picture of James trying to put the giant toothbrush in his mouth :)
ReplyDeleteA giant toothbrush should keep her teeth nice and clean. I wouldn't be surprised if she starts to share it! Great job on the reading!
ReplyDeleteI have no idea why our children liked those big toothbrushes so much, either! Those hard plastic bristles do make a halfway decent back scratcher, but that is the only use I can think of for the silly things! I guess that explains why I'm not a kid anymore, because I just cannot see the excitement in those. I'm glad Abbie is excited about hers, though!
ReplyDeleteSo what exactly does one DO with a huge toothbrush?
ReplyDeleteBut wow it's impressive!!!
