This morning James snuck outside again. I went to the back door and saw that he was on the lawn mower. I said, "James Daniel, come in this house right now! You do not have a helper!" He matter-of-factly yelled back to me, "I can't hear you!"
A few minutes ago I was putting his pjs on and I said something like, "Tomorrow we will get to see Nana and go to Bible Study." He responded, "I can't go. I have to go to the doctor. I have a hiccup."
When did he start talking in sentences? Will someone bring me my newborn back?

Sounds like you're newborn is long gone! I can't wait for him to call me on the phone, hint, hint.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean...it's so danged cute when they do it, but then you realize that they are growing up. I hated it when Aaron could pronounce things correctly. He used to say 'foffee' instead of coffee. I still call it foffee.
ReplyDeleteMuscadine jelly is going camping with us for the big debut! I can't wait to try it!
Adorable! I miss my little ones talking to me! My daughter who is now 16 just grunts as she walks by. Teenagers! Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteOnce they start talking in complete sentences, it's not too long until they don't want your kisses anymore. Enjoy this time!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Leslie
They grow up so fast... :(
ReplyDeleteThis post and the one before made me laugh out-loud! How cute!
ReplyDeleteLove it! Isn't it amazing how quickly they start talking like miniature adults!?
