For Nana

Last night Abbie had a Date Night With Mom at American Heritage Girls. It was a hairstyling night and it was really was so much fun. Four moms (myself included) were wrangled into being the hairstylists. We had it set up just like a salon. The girls had pictures to look at and they could pick out different hairstyles. As we were driving home Abbie told me I needed to take a picture of her and put it on the blog so Nana could see what it looked like. Its too bad the girls had to go home and go straight to bed with their cute hairstyles.

Also, Hi! to Mrs. Stacey who I know reads my blog, but NEVER leaves a comment! But that's okay Mrs. Stacey, we still think you are the best AHG leader ever!

And Rebekah, your sweet brownie-making girl left her coat her yesterday. I'll bring it to you Saturday. Those brownies were divine and I seriously have a new love in my life now. I am going to add it to Abbie's chore list to make those every week. Its too bad I will have to stop eating everything else the rest of the week to balance out the calories, but, oh well.

***Later this morning (at 8:45 am) Child Fuss and Child Fight have already been at it. I gave Matt an exercise to do in which he had to look his sister in the eye and tell her three things he liked about her. This was for him to practice saying nice things and not the usual sarcastic things he likes to say to her. This is what he came up with.

"I like your hair." - pretty good
"I like your shoes."- I can tell he is really struggling here.
After a reallllly long pause, he says,

"I like your zipper."

Ya'll, it was all I could do not to burst out laughing. Of all the wonderful things about Abbie he came up with her zipper. Please pray for ole MamaHen. Child Fuss and Child Fight might be the end of me.

  4. Zippers totally are under appreciated!! Where would we be without the zipper!?! Pants falling down, jackets hanging open, hoodies with no cute decor hanging...I like zippers.
