Twelve Years

Twelve years...

of wonder at this amazing child

of memories of my firstborn

of unbelief that he is really mine

of prayer that he would grow to be a man after God's own heart

of tears when I failed as a mom

of laughter at his funny antics

of amazement that God would give me, unworthy as I am, this child.
