Abbie happily and without complaint began to work on her list. I was in a little shock because she usually will try to come up with different scenarios as to why this is not the "best time" for her to clean her room. But today she just went right to work. I didn't hear a peep out of her until she came to me and said she wanted to mop her room (she has hardwood floors). That wasn't even on the list. "Wow, " I said to myself, "she is showing some initiative and interest in cleaning up." She needed a bucket to take into her room though. I didn't have one as I just use the sink in the kitchen when I mop so I told her she would need to go outside, find a bucket, clean it out and use that. Well, I didn't hear from her again. I just assumed she decided not to do it.
Just awhile ago I was walking through her room to collect the dirty clothes and I noticed something in the corner. I went to investigate and saw that she had indeed mopped her room. With a mop. Which is good. But she used my TEA PITCHER as a bucket.
I have always loved sweet tea, but I think it may have be ruined for me for me now.
To cheer me up I went back to Missy's blog and borrowed this from her. I don't know why I like silly things like this (and the Swagger wagon), but I do. Hopefully you do too.

They also have a cute mommy one too.
Ew. No sweet tea from you, thank you very much. Although a run through a hot dishwasher, I'm sure, would make it as good as new!
ReplyDeleteOkay I love those videos. SO funny. And you have GOT to get a Shark!! Steam cleaning is the only way to go!! So easy. Schyler does it all the time.
ReplyDeleteMop water & sweet tea...yuck! Hope you are able to thoroughly sanitize the tea pitcher before you use it again :)
ReplyDeleteThat video is hilarious, love it!
