Still Sick

All my sick folk are still sick. James is definitely feeling better and making his presence known. Tyler has not had a fever today, but Matt is feeling pretty terrible. Mark is not doing well, and Abbie is holding steady. She feels bad, but has been able to drink and eat a little today. Yesterday she couldn't.

My TV has played Mythbusters, Rugrats, XBOX, and Ned's something show all day. And the computer has played Greg Brady (aka Johnny Bravo) singing "You have to be in love to love a love song" several times over and over this afternoon. I wonder who was watching that? :)

I have cleaned out things a little today and tried to clean up after James. He is a tiny tornado that hits each room he frequents. I am so glad he is feeling better, but my goodness, it is amazing what he can do in just a few minutes.

James told me today he wanted to talk about animals. I asked him about all different animals and if he liked them. I said, "How about the horse, do you like the horse?" He replied, "Yes, the horse is a fascinating animal."

His vocabulary has taken off the past couple of months, but all of sudden he is saying things I had no idea he even had any exposure too. We sure don't go around saying, fascinating, around here. He keeps us laughing, that's for sure.

I wanted to tell you about the new widget on my sidebar. Rebekah is having an online fundraiser to help with their adoption expenses. You can click on the button and it will take you to some very cute t-shirts. They have something for everyone so go take a look around. They would sure appreciate it.

  2. Well at least someone is feeling better in your house.

Maybe he's sneaking some Star Trek in every now and then.

  3. You need a eucalyptus scented yankee candle. I burn them when our house is full of ailing souls... It helps with the congestion. Take care, hang in.
