Well...stick a fork in me, cause I'm done.

Well, I didn't get to finish my Homemaking Challenge.

But I have a good excuse-a doctor's excuse even. I went to the doctor again this morning because things were getting worse. You know why? Because I have apparently had the flu for the past 2 1/2 weeks with no flu symptoms. Except for feeling extremely tired and not being able to breath. When I got there this morning the docs did a breathing treatment (that was a new experience) and gave me more antibiotics. ( I am very wary about the flu diagnosis, even though my test came back positive, but I definitely have some kind of respiratory thing.)

So, I have a very clean nice house and I feel like dirt.

I got everything done on the list but two things so I am counting that as a success in my book. I did one extra project that wasn't even on the list and thought about doing a lot others so I am saying it all evens out. Sound good to you? And by the way, we have had the best school month we have had here in a long time. I think knowing I was sick and that I could end up in the bed at anytime spurred me on to go ahead and get lots done.

So tomorrow I will be able to rest lots more and then Thursday morning I'll draw a winner.

  1. you poor thing! that's horrible! good that you got your house stuff done, though :)

  2. Sounds like a BIG success to me. I can't wait to come over and gaze at your lovely closets.

  3. That's great that you got most of the things done on your list! Hope you're feeling better by Thanksgiving!

  4. I'm so sorry you're sick! Hopefully you will feel better tomorrow for Thanksgiving. I hope you don't have too much cooking to do. Ask for help. Really. Just do it. When you're sick, it is okay to ask for help.

  5. Thanks for stopping by my blog! I love to have new readers.

The flu just stinks! Here's hoping you are feeling better each day and will be full well quickly.

I clicked on the link Homemaking Challenge, but didn't go to anything...was curious what it was about...maybe something I could do to help myself around my place.

    Take Care!
