Flu 2010 ( the second time around)

Right now five out of my six (including me) have the flu. Well, one is debatable, but she is running a fever. Abbie and James are at my mom's. I sent them to her house to hopefully avoid them getting sick also. I guess we will find out in the morning what is really going on. Have I told you I have the best mom in the world? Its true, I do.

ETA: This is the sickest I have ever seen Mark. Tyler started throwing up in the night. Matt is having trouble breathing and sleeping so I have him propped up with pillows on the couch. I am waiting a little longer to call and check on Abbie. I am feeling much better though. Just lack of sleep.

  1. I'm so sorry that you and your family are suffering this same misery.

I visit and comment because misery love company...NOT!

I truly hope and pray that both our families heal quickly. We've already had some horrible relapses and the doctor just took my husband out of work through Monday. He will have missed an entire week.

    Many Blessings, Tamara

  4. Oh my - as a recent post flu victim myself, I totally feel your pain. I suppose I can add one more bonus to the empty nest syndrom....at least, I don't pass my flu throughout the house anymore. I sure hope that everyone is feeling better and at 100 percent really quickly:)

Enjoyed looking into your Christmas celebration through Jill's blog photos. No, can't say that guns are usually a part of my holiday:) but you do look like a true pro shooter!! Priceless picture of your Granddaddy!!

Hope it was all wonderful and the new year ahead will be every bit as fantastic!! Hugs, friend. Jennifer

  5. Wash everyone's sheets, put pillows in the dryer on hottest setting for 30 minutes, get everyone new toothbrushes, and Lysol every doorknob and lightswitch. Eat tons of citrus and drink lots of water. And garlic. Cook you some eggs with garlic in them.
So sorry!! Sickyness is so awful. We are praying for you all.

  6. Oh, girl, I wish things were getting better. So sorry everyone is sick and that Mark is having such a hard time with it.

I ditto everything Jennifer said. And we have a Sam's size hand sanitizer sitting on the bar now in a very convenient location, lol, so that when everyone walks by they should be making sure they are cleaning their hands, in addition to the normal soap and water washing.

    Miss ya!

  7. I hope you are out of the sick days, it being a week later!! Two years ago we spent our entire Christmas with over half of the 16 people in our home sick. That was a long holiday!
