Veritas Press Giveaway at Raising Homemakers.

It doesn't take much to get me excited about anything related to homeschooling. I have already received a couple of spring curriculum catalogs and my heart goes pitter-patter when the mail comes. I LOVE curriculum catalogs!

So, you can imagine how excited I was to see this giveaway on Raising Homemakers. They are giving away a complete 2 year Veritas Press Phonics Museum Curriculum. I so want to win this for James. He is four and will be ready for this in the Fall.

I have been using Veritas Press history with my 4th, 5th, and 7th graders for two years and it is so good for our family. The history cards make it easy to plan and implement into our school days. Veritas Press also recommends so many good books for the kids to read to reinforce what they are learning. I recommend you get the catalog, even if you don't plan on purchasing. The book list is amazing. I am sure you can go online also and see their catalog.

Anyway, back to the giveaway. If I don't win, I hope you do!

By the way: This post is code for--If you are related to me and/or know me in real life and you don't way this curriculum for yourself please go and enter. That would be you, Jill, Mama, Daddy, Hubby, Uncle Del, Aunt Mollie...anyone else who would like for James to be well-rounded and well-educated. No pressure though!!!! Thanks! :)

  3. I don't know quite how to say this, Mama Hen. But I have that set. I used it for my first two children. I tried it for my dear dyslexic daughter who just could not learn with it, bless her heart.

I keep thinking I should make sure I have all the pieces and sell it. Then I think I might use it again with child #4 and #5. I keep vacillating. But, if you ever want to look at it, you're welcome to come over. I could probably loan it out to you short term. (Probably not for two years.) But long enough for you to see whether you want to invest in it.

Or maybe you'll win it in the giveaway! :)
