This and That Monday...

I went out this earlier to get something out of the dryer and ya'll...it was cool. A pleasant cool. And I thought, "Can I get away with swinging in my hammock for the day?"

I would have to say "no" on behalf of the power company who is waiting on their bill to be paid, the trip to the post office to buy the stamps to mail the bill, and on behalf of the chickens who are waiting for me to go to the feed store and purchase them some feed, and on behalf of the four kiddos who will be waking shortly to breakfast, and on behalf of the American Heritage Girls who are depending on me to get some work done before the meeting tonight. The parent's meeting-the one where we need to look like we know what we are doing.

So today-
-bill paying
-errand-running
-sign-up sheet making
-kid-feeding
And then whatever else gets thrown in for good measure.

What are you doing this Monday?

  2. The girls went back to school today, so I have the whole house all to myself. Sitting outside this cool morning sounds like a great idea, but I have floors to mop, laundry to get done and errands to run. Maybe I'll squeeze a little porch time in...

  4. I actually had the coolest Monday today but I can't really tell you all about 'cause it would ruin that blog post that surely will get posted one day very soon!

  5. This is off topic....but don't know how to email you. My daughter (a great mom and special Ed teacher) is trying to launch a blogspot blog......she is having trouble using some of the tools.......just wonder what your experience has been???? Any hints I could pass on to her?
    God bless, Pam, South Bend

  6. The kids and I had our first tennis lesson this morning, and we loved it!! I don't know if I'll be able to move tomorrow morning, but at least we enjoyed it today. :) After tennis we came home and did school and a little bit of housework. I feel like we had a very productive day. Maybe we can get in a habit of it.....

  7. Today I spent working on the effort for Charlie's Miracle Makeover. But I'd love to come spend time chatting & swinging in the cool of the morn, with you.

Would you be so kind to leave a comment on my BLOG ONLY (no emails), for the Miracle Makeover fund drive thru 8-18. Charlie, 8 yr. old, & his story are fabulous. Every comment brings us a $1 for the next person that will be sponsored.

    Have a beautiful weekend.

  8. Monday saw me also paying the electric bill, but failing to get to the post office for stamps so it's still sitting on my desk, laundry, babysitting, gardening and making salsa from gardening. I did, however, find some time to sit on the deck and read, since the husband picked kids up from school today and took them to a Broncos football practice!
