Does Mental Packing Count?...

Okay, here is the deal. I'm leaving early Friday morning to go to Pennsylvania and I am soooo not prepared. And its like I can't get the gumption to get prepared. I did clean out the fridge this morning and got all the ironing done after lunch, but all the other stuff, like packing, thinking through the kids stuff while I am gone-uuggghhh. So I am procrastinating by looking at blogs. I know, really productive, huh?

I am excited about the trip itself, but I think I am in denial about the actual leaving part. My head is spinning thinking of all that I want to do before I leave, but so far that's as far as I've gotten.

Mark will be here at the house with the kiddos Friday through Monday and then Mrs. Jennifer is keeping an eye on them Tuesday. Bless Mark's heart, Abbie has a whole calendar of activities planned out for them to do while I am gone. A real calendar. It will be interesting to see how that plays out.

My sister, mom, aunt, my aunt's mom, and my great-aunt are all going. I hope PA is ready for us. We are of the "ain't never been nowhere before" variety and it will be interesting to see how it all plays out. I know that just with my sister, mom, and I it can be trouble. Well, maybe not trouble, but something terribly funny usually happens when we are together.

  4. I haven't packed a thing - nothing like waiting till the last minute. I'm super excited! And yes, I'm excited and nervous all at the same time about the "trouble" we're gonna find.
