Well, Knock Me Over...

You could have knocked me over with a feather when Matt started yelling "Sue had bunnies, Sue had bunnies!!!!"

Sure enough, Matt dug down deep in her whole little cave she had built for herself in the hay, and pulled out six bunnies.

oh.my.goodness. Can you say adorable? I can't believe there have been babies out there for two weeks and I didn't know about it.

Sue, the MamaRabbit, didn't seem to mind us holding them and she just went about her business of eating her celery. She had six and evidently has been doing a great job taking care of them because they all appear to be healthy. Two look just like George, the Daddy, and the other four look just like Sue.

Matt immediately began calculating how much money he could get by selling them all. And I was thinking to myself, "There ain't no way I will ever be able to sell these bunnies."

I know I will change my mind after the cute wears off and I am having to buy the feed for them. But right now I am in newborn bunny bliss and best of all, I just get to go and enjoy them! Sort of like being a grandmother I guess!

Monday morning update: Matt just found another one-we have seven!
