A Little Shells and Cheese Never Hurts...

I don't think I have ever been so happy to have a regular Monday morning here at home. We were supposed to start school last Wednesday, but today will be the day! I think the kids are even ready.

But guess what, Tyler starts Square Roots today. So, I'll be pulling out the Teachers Manual here shortly and getting a little refresher course. I refuse to whine or cry. I will be strong for him. Actually, he can figure it all out in about five minutes by himself. But I feel like I need to at least act like I'm interested, right? And that it's important. Right?

Matt and Abbie start a new spelling curriculum today and they ARE NOT happy about it. James is just happy-go-lucky about the whole day. He told me that he really missed me while I was in the hospital, but that Nana made him Velveeta Shells and Cheese and then he was okay. So glad to know I'm second only to Shells and Cheese....

  1. i am so sorry you're going thru this and will be praying for you, girl!

  2. Wendy, I did not know you had been in the hospital. I'm so sorry! Glad you are back home and that the Lord provided such good care for you and your family. Love you!

  3. I cried at your previous post, because I am SO happy that you have a mama, husband, and Mrs. Jennifer who take care of you! I will be praying for your health and strength. Don't overdo it today... be good to yourself! I am just so happy that you have so many people there to love you and take care of you!
    Love and prayers to you,

  4. I do hope you get feeling better soon!

  5. I have been praying for you Wendy and will continue to pray!!!!!! SO thankful you are home...get plenty of rest!!!!!!!!!!! NO SQUARE ROOTS TOO SOON!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. Glad the shells and cheese worked...not that you're 2nd, cause I'm sure your not really---but to make little James feel better. Did you notice my great sentence structure? Maybe I should join the other 2 with the new spelling book--what are you using?
