Note to Self # 5,724

If...

I plan a big Fill Your Freezer Cooking Day and have big plans to spend one day in the kitchen to make the next few weeks a little easier...

Then I must have the dishes washed and ready to go BEFORE I start.
I must remember to lay out the beef the night before so it can thaw out.
I must remember to plan and purchase all the ingredients needed for the big cooking day.
I must not start the cooking day at 9:30 am.  Six am would be the more appropriate time.

If I do not do the things listed above my cooking day will be over before it even starts.

Do you ever have fill your freezer days?  And if so, how do you make them work?

  5. My problem isn't filling my freezer; it's getting around to using what I Put there. I have a really bad problem with never leaving myself enough time to thaw, so therefore everything ruins. I now vow to only use my freezer for ice, ice cream, and whipped cream (which is better than ice cream when frozen).
