Friday Freezer Cooking....

I got the Breakfast Burritos done and whew, it was a process. I'm glad I did it though because I have 30 burritos in the freezer. I'm not really sure how long they will last, but we'll see. After cleaning up I decided to tackle the blueberries and blackberries tomorrow. I made some with bacon, some with chopped ham, and some with sausage. I didn't have any green bell peppers, but I did have red and yellow so I just used those. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to freeze these without using the aluminium foil? That would cut down on costs quite a bit.
Getting them ready to assemble.

Some of them all packaged up and ready to freeze.

  2. That's a great idea, I might have to try that. I'm not sure if it would work, but what if you froze the burritos unwrapped on a baking sheet and then put them into a container?

  3. I came here to suggest the same thing the last lady did. I have other recipes that it works for. Once frozen, you can transfer them into a big baggie and the shouldn't stick together.
Will you share how you made them...my kids really need better breakfast foods, but I am just not one to put too much time into it each morning.

  4. I wonder if my chillin's would eat the breakfast burritos? I'll have to try it this week. And thanks to the others who shared the no-foil solutions! Brilliant!

  5. What a good idea to freeze breakfast burritos! I sometimes make and freeze lunch stuff, but I hadn't really thought about doing it for breakfast. I'll have to try it. Thanks for including the link to the recipe. :)
