A sight I love to see-Daddies and little boys snuggling up.
This greeted me as I turned the corner to go into the boy's room this morning. When I asked James, "What in the world were you thinking?" he replied, "You told me to go find a toy to play with." He then said, in a despairing voice, "I looked and looked and never found anything." Bless his little heart.
The seeds are starting to germinate! This is our first time to start from seed with our tomatoes and peppers so I am a little nervous.
Freezer Friday Report-All I did this week was brown some more ground beef with onions. I feel like I am in just keep them feed something mode right now. I haven't really had time to investigate new recipes or had a block of time to devote to freezer work.
Walking Wendy Report-I am still at it. Not as consistent as I want to be, but walking one to four miles about four days a week. I am waiting for the great spurts of energy I am supposed to feel, but so far its only a sore knee. I'm not giving in though. Ya'll remind me of that next time I whine and complain.
That's about it. We have had a good normal week at home, just doing school and such. The baby chicks are teenagers now and are growing and eating like crazy. Just like my real chicks. I'm off now to make a pineapple upside down cake for an afternoon snack. For the children of course. Hmmm.....

Way to go with the walking!!!
ReplyDeleteThat second picture, it looks like that around here twice a day. One would think the picking up after them alone would be enough exercise.
ReplyDeleteI've been out walking too, we are going to be so in shape:)
Ma-I didn't pick that up actually. I told him to do it and give him some baskets and boxes to put it all in. He went right to work, but when I came through later he saw that most of it was just pushed to the side. So I added it to my mental list of things to do but will probably never get done in real life, but it's nice to think about anyway. Please tell me other moms have those mental lists too. :)
ReplyDeleteGood job on the walking. My hips and knee are feeling it, but I know it will be worth it, right?
