Tuesday

**Yesterday Fav Girl came to play with Abbie for her birthday. It is not until Thursday, but as we will be gone most of the day Thursday, Monday was the day. It was good for Abbie to have a girl to play and giggle with all day. They made cupcakes and a giant mess doing it. They begged all morning to play in the hose outside, and then after 10 minutes they were begging to come in. Being mean ole Momma and mean ole Aunt MamaHen I said "No." After all that begging I was going to get at least 30 minutes out of that hose.

**My bestest friend, Rebekah, is due next week with her New Baby Boy. Oh, my goodness, I can't wait to hold some baby sweetness. I love newborn babies! We talked yesterday and we have declared this Sunday will be a good day for her to have the baby. Due to a number of circumstances (one of my favorites is that Mark will be here to watch the kids so I can get to that hospital) Sunday is the best day for us. We'll see...

**I have watched Pride and Prejudice (the PBS version) for the past two nights. Swoon. I have to admit though I was pretty upset after the first half. Mr. Darcy was pretty mean and was very prideful. They are such great actors I found myself feeling even more upset about it than when I read the books. I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but the second half is MUCH better and I didn't want it to end. Now, I am going to get the other version!!!!

**I have been in a quandry for about a week. For those don't know, a quandry is when you find yourself in a predicament and you just can't figure things out. Here in the south we don't say, "I have a problem." You would say, "I am just in a quandry!" (Put the emphasis on quandry and say it real slow.) This quandry can range anywhere from "My husband just got fired" to "Oh, I just broke a nail and it is time for the Ladies Tea!" If you use the word quandry all Southern women will immediately sympathize with you. Anyway, I could not find my planner, the brand new red one that I love, for about a week. Today I found it. It had fallen behind the computer desk. Whew!
