Well, Mark saved the day by bringing home a gallon a milk last night.

Actually, the rest of the afternoon went fairly well. It started to rain pretty hard so when James woke up from his nap I wrapped him up in a blanket and we sat on the front porch and watched the rain. I love to sit with the kiddos like this. They really start to talk to me about what is important to them when we do this. It is relaxing I guess.

We had leftover smorgasbord for supper so I didn't have to cook. Mark got home around 6:30 and I was able to finally get a shower. I got some more ironing done. This was my second night in a row to iron and I think I will have it all done today. That is until I start on the washing again. I had let it get waaaaay behind.

Anyways, today is Bible Study for the kiddos and me and then home to do progress reports and grades for our homeschool group. We turn them in twice a year and this is the time. Supper is already in the crockpot so I don't have to worry about that.

Tyler's hand is okay from the van door. He is pretty tough. Matt's poison oak is terrible and he is surviving on Cortisone 10 and Benedryl right now. A doctor's appointment might be in order to get a cortisone shot.

Hope you all have a lovely (although rainy and muddy) day!

  4. I love it when my husband brings home what we need so I don't have to venture out somedays. Somedays, it's just nice being, well, just being! Without all the mess at stores.

Glad your laundry is getting caught up. I HATE doing the laundry.
