A Whole Bunch Of Busy

These past few days have been filled with a whole bunch of busy. That's the only way I know to describe it. Things are winding down though. In just three more weeks we will have a CBS break, a school break, a Cub Scout break, and a Heritage Girl break. But of course we will add to that Scout Summer Camp and VBS. We are taking a three week school break and then we will be back at it until canning season hits full force.

I would love to post some pictures, but I still can't find my camera charger. I guess I will have to go buy one, but I know as soon as I do I will find the old one. That is the story of my life.

The garden is growing. George the rabbit is growing like crazy. I had no idea how fast a rabbit can grow in just two weeks.

James is still not potty-trained. I am a terrible potty-trainer. I will put his little underwear on him and he will go outside to play. I will get busy with school or something and then remember. I will rush to the door to call him and he will be soaking. His reasoning for not coming in that he tee-teed outside. But he will not pull his underwear down so whoop-de-doo. Anyone can tee-tee outside if they want to that way. But it really is my fault. I need just one week to stay home and not be distracted. Just one week to be able to concentrate on training. And I just don't see it happening anytime soon.

Adoption news-we are now talking with a private adoption lawyer. We are still working with our local agency, but already having four children seems to be a strike against us with the birthmothers. BUT, my BFF has some very exciting news about her adoption-go check it out and leave them a congratulations! She is getting a cutie-pie!

On my list today:
  • School
  • Laundry
  • Pay Bills
  • Walking Two Miles (Tyler and I have started walking together in the afternoons-he has to fulfill a Scout requirement and I am joining him)
  • Three meals
  • Potty-train
  • Play with George the Rabbit ( I am loving the rabbit)
  • I am sure I will talk with Rebekah about how my Monday Morning Mess has carried over to my Tuesday morning. (Although Mark got on a cleaning streak Sunday and had things looking pretty good Monday morning. Thank you Sweet Hubby!)
  • My bathroom is in dire need of a good scrubbing.

Any suggestions on getting that all done today?????

What's on your list?

  1. I would put off the potty training, or at least not stress about it, until your break! Good luck with that list :) Have a wonderful day!
