Wednesday Giveaway
Today's giveaway book is Amish Peace-Simple Wisdom For A Complicated World, by Suzanne Fisher.
It is a simple, easy-to-read book, telling different vignettes from Amish life. It has real-life stories about the Amish and the choices they make for their lives. And the reasons they make those choices. It also includes Amish proverbs and facts about the different Amish communities in the United States.
I don't always agree with their doctrine, but I so admire their commitment to their faith and their families.
Also included in this giveaway are two copies of Taste of Home magazine. I have enjoyed Taste of Home for years now. My mom used to get this magazine when I was still living at home and even then I loved to look through it. It has real recipes that real people cook. Nothing too fancy, just delicious yummy food. I have a copy of the December/January 2011 and the February/March 2011 issues to send along with your book.
