This week the blueberries and blackberries really started ripening so I have been freezing lots of those. That's super-easy to do and I love to see the freezer begin filling up with all the yumminess. And I also was able to cook some ground beef and make some sloppy joe mix for the freezer. And that's it. It all adds up though and little by little the pantry/freezer gets filled.
Well, I did have to make this cake for the Fourth of July yesterday. After all, if you have fresh blueberries you can't waste them. And the cake is very moist and soft so I can eat it even with The Jaw problems.
